- Recommend facility size based on case mix, projected volume and suite utilization
- Develop financial proforma based on current reimbursement rates and projected capital and operational expenses
- Provide recommendations on qualified CPAs and attorneys with years of ASC experience to syndicate project
- Provide recommendations on experienced architects and contractors, knowledgeable in ASC construction
- Establish realistic timelines and construction schedules
Construction Schedule
- Develop architectural plans to minimize space and maximize efficiency
- Formulate a realistic construction budget and timeline
- Work with contractor to obtain required construction permits/licenses
Financial
- Develop a capital and operational budget
- Recommend procedural pricing
- Standardize High Cost/High Volume cases to maximize reimbursement
- Identify and contract with Managed Care providers
- Establish Business Office procedures and protocols
Medical Staff
- Establish Medical Executive Committee and Board of Managers
- Recommend Bylaws/Rules and Regulations
- Implement process for Medical Staff Credentialing
Professional Service Contracts
- Establish Contracts for the following: Anesthesia/ Pathology/ Radiology/ Pharmacy/ Consultant Pharmacist/ Laboratory/ Blood and Tissue Bank/ Housekeeping/ Maintenance/ Biomedical Security/ Cyber Security
